  • Microsoft Power BI Visuals

Interactive must-follow workshop for any user of Power BI reports or dashboards.

    Power BI Visuals Workshop

Anyone who has ever received a Power BI dashboard in their inbox knows the importance of understanding the visual representations, filters, and settings applied. Analysing this information correctly is crucial.

This workshop will introduce you to the world of Power BI Services. It's designed for a broad audience, particularly end users of Dashboards, Power BI Apps, or team members with access to a Power BI Workspace.

This is a must-attend session for anyone who wants to accurately interpret Power BI analyses!

  • Microsoft Power BI Fundamentals

‘Getting started’ training of 2 days, supplemented by a case study on day 3 in Power BI desktop. Data is loaded, edited via Power Query. Afterwards, you will learn how to make the right relationships. Data dimension tables and measures in DAX are added to obtain a ‘Semantic Model’. Based on this, a report is created.

    Power BI Fundamentals

This interactive multi-day training course is aimed at the ‘Report Builder’ who wants to work with raw data on his or her own or in a team to transform it into ‘data-facts’ tables in Power BI Desktop. Based on relationships between the information and adding data dimension tables and a table with DAX measures, you will obtain a ‘Semantic Model’.

On this basis, you learn how to draw up a report. The right choice of visuals and styles, supplementing with slicers, drill-through pages and tooltip pages makes your report a user-friendly tool for the business analyst in your organisation.

To collaborate and share this information, publish the report in Power BI Services and, if required, you can create a Power BI App to distribute the information to a wider audience.

This course lasts 2 days and offers the optional option of adding a third day in which trainees develop a case study to apply and test their acquired knowledge.

During the first two days, we use datasets from IT-Training4all BV. On the third day, there is a customised case-study, possibly on company-specific data.

  • Microsoft Power BI 5-step-report

You have access to a ‘Semantic Model’ but want to build your own report? Follow this half-day workshop. Here you will learn how to build an interactive report with 5 visuals, a drill-through page and a tooltip page.

    Power BI 5-step-report

In this workshop, you'll primarily build a report using Power BI Desktop, though an alternative approach via Power BI Services is also available.

You'll create a multi-page report featuring five visuals. In addition to utilising filters and formatting tools for these visuals, you'll learn how to set up a tooltip page and a drill through page.

This session is designed for report builders who want to leverage existing semantic models while maintaining their unique perspective in report creation.
